The Centers Info, Staff & Business Hours

We made a name change in Dec 2011 to set our intention and purpose for the Center for Transformational Neurophysiology to be our research division and Santa Cruz Neurofeedback Center our training center. Neurofeedback is more popular than when our first name was chosen five years ago and more widely understood, so it seems appropriate and simpler to use that name as our training Center.

Our Staff

Our Director:
Langdon trained in massage therapy and holistic health education at the National Holistic Institute in Oakland, California. He received his Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Langdon has developed neuromassage by integrating traditional Eastern and Western approaches to health with the latest theories of neuroscience and brain change technologies, as well as unique life experiences. In addition to his practice, Langdon is also enthusiastic about scientific research. His research at Brown included the study of the effects of sensory stimulation on the strengths of neural connections within the brain. More recently, he conducted studies of the comparative effectiveness of different methods of applying pressure during massage therapy. He currently conducts clinical research on the cumulative and synergistc pain-relieving effects of biofeedback, massage and microcurrent stimulation. Langdon is also continually developing and refining the NeuroMassage bodywork system.
Since 1989, Langdon has been using techniques described on this site to effectively manage his own symptoms of Tourette Syndrome. He has worked with children and adults to provide healing support for a wide variety of physical and psychological challenges.
In 1999, Langdon developed the NeuroMassage system and opened a practice in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2004, he moved to Santa Cruz County.
In 2006 he cofounded Center for Transformational Neurophysiology in Soquel, CA

In 2006 she cofounded the Center for Transformational Neurophysiology with Langdon and has been a working partner at the Center since its opening. She has worked in the field of neurofeedback and consciousness research since then. She especially loves working with people to refuce their stress levels in physical and practical ways, through a comprehensive program of life coaching, biofeedback, accountability, massage, and body centered awareness.
Austin Lutz
Austin is a new intern with us since the early winter 2011, in his last year majoring in Psychology at UCSC. You will likely see him helping out prepping our wonderful clients for their session, cleaning up after them and the rest of us, or working on programs to bring more of what we do here at the Center into our community. Thanks Austin!
